Osadía de Crear awarded Silver Medal in Best of Mendoza Wine Tourism 2019

Osadía de Crear, the restaurant of Susana Balbo Wines, earned the Silver Medal for Best Restaurant in the 2019 ¨Best of Mendoza Wine Tourism¨ awards.

The winners are selected each year by the Great Wine Capitals global network, and represent innovation and excellence in wine tourism throughout the nine greatest wine regions in the world.

Osadía de Crear was recognized for its innovative gourmet tasting menus, designed by renown chef Hernan Gipponi. The 5 and 3 course tasting menus take diners on a culinary journey across Argentina while introducing its terroirs through pairings with the Susana Balbo Signature and Benmarco lines.

Osadía´s menu emhasizes seafood as much as steak, and white wines are given prime spots on the tasting menus, including Susana Balbo´s Signature Barrel Fermented Torrontés, White Blend and Rosé – the first Provence-style Rosé from Argentina and in 2018 named the best rosé from Argentina by multiple international wine critics..

The family values of the restaurant were also recognized. Osadia de Crear offers a kids´menu and a large garden to play. This year, following the arrival of Susana´s two new grandchildren, a new jungle gym was installed to encourage visitors´ guests to play alongside the family.
