Susana Balbo Wines’ restaurants among the best 3 in Best Of Wine Tourism 2017

The Best Of Wine Tourism Awards were celebrated in Mendoza and both restaurants of Susana Balbo Wines, Osadía de Crear and Espacio Crios, received the silver award.

This international competition hosted by Great Wine Capitals is designed to reward businesses in each member region that have distinguished themselves in terms of the excellence of their facilities and delivering quality experiences to visitors in various categories (accommodation, Wine Tourism Restaurants, Sustainable Wine Tourism Practices, Architecture & Landscape, Art & Culture, Innovative Wine Tourism Experiences, Wine Tourism Services).

Susana Balbo Wines placed silver within Wine Tourism Restaurants category. This is the second silver award for the winery due to its excellent cuisine performance.

Ana Lovaglio Balbo, Marketing Manager at the winery, expressed her gratitude for this recognition, “we are very proud of being recognized for the second time as the best of Wine Tourism Restaurants. This award means that we are doing things well and that we are surpassing our costumers’ expectations.”

About the restaurants

On one hand, there is Osadia de Crear that offers a gourmet menu in the dining room for a one of a kind gastronomic experience. You can choose to have an "a la carte" lunch or you can choose from the specially designed paired menus to taste Susana Balbo's wines.

On the other hand, Espacio Crios offers an innovative experience, both casual and entertaining, to its visitors. Creative tapas, sandwiches, fruity aromas, and relaxed cocktail-hours paired with a glass of wine and the dazzling view of the Andes create a unique and special moment. It is a space to share sensations, moments, and emotions.

For those who are looking for an option even more relaxed and chill, “Espacio Crios” provides you with blankets and pillows to have a picnic in the winery’s  beautiful garden, while enjoying the view of the vineyards and the outstanding “Cordón del Plata” mountain range.

According to Leticia Fragapane, Tourism and Hospitality Manager, the main purpose of these 2 restaurants is to offer experiences to different visitor preferences.
