Three of Susana Balbo's wines were selected among James Suckling's 2021 top 100 wines from Argentina

Nosotros Single Vineyard Nómade 2017 ranked among the top 3 wines of the country according to the renowned critic, while Susana Balbo Signature Limited Edition Paraje Altamira Malbec 2018 and BenMarco Expresivo 2019 also made the cut.

Last Wednesday, December 15th, the renowned American wine critic James Suckling published his report on the top 100 Argentinian wines of 2021, and the wines created by Susana Balbo and her team of winemakers earned their spot.

In this regard, Nosotros Single Vineyard Nómade 2017 was selected among the top 3 Argentinian wines of the year, with an outstanding score of 99 points out of 100. Suckling highlighted this wine's vivacity and bright acidity, and described it as a "very energetic wine” with “gorgeously integrated tannins". Meanwhile, Susana Balbo Signature Limited Edition Paraje Altamira Malbec 2018 scored 96 points and placed 23rd in the ranking. This wine, sourced from Susana's favorite vineyard, was defined as a "polished, intense and compact wine, balanced by fresh acidity" that gives the consumer "lots to take in". Lastly, BenMarco Expresivo 2019 ranked 52nd with 94 points and was characterized as a “medium-bodied” wine “with tight, chewy tannins that are lively and fresh”.
