Two wines by Susana Balbo recognized in the prestigious Wine Spectator magazine

These are two of the most reputed wines produced by Argentina first female winemaker’s winery.

Wine journalist Kim Marcus, Argentine wines reviewer for the prestigious American magazine Wine Spectator, granted two of Susana Balbo’s wines excellent scores.

The critic awarded the collectible wine Nosotros Single Vineyard Nómade 2015 with 94 points and described it as “intensely fruity, with vibrant acidity to the concentrated blueberry, red currant and plum flavors that feature plenty of inky accents. Shows toasty notes on the Asian spice–filled finish.”

Furthermore, Marcus granted 93 points to the Susana’s signature top-of-range wine: Susana Balbo Signature Brioso 2018. This blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot was described by Kim Marcus as “big and rich, with unctuous dark berry, plum tart and cherry pastry flavors that are lavishly spiced. Hints of dried green herbs on the structured finish that offers hints of anise.”
